There are 13 days left to rise the funds for the Stepping Workshop Tour. The rewards are the beginning of the thank you process. Its starts with the physical rewards, continues with you being apart of something aimed to teach, share and give culture to many people, and ends with a great sense of accomplishment, acknowledgment and admiration for helping bring this wonderful vision to life.

It’s happening bruh!

“it’s happening bruh!” that’s what Jayro told me as we talked about the tour. At this point there is $291 toward the $2500 goal has been risen and there still 22 days to meet the $2500 mark by April 30th. So it’s not over yet, I am still working, the project is starting to gain stream, and I could use all the help I can get.

To bring attention to the tour and my fund rising efforts, I’m sending out an email, my intentions are to reach as many people as possible. And I’ve gotten a great response so far. People wanting to help solidify venues and places to stay while I’m in their city, so ladies and gentleman the law of attention is in effect now. I want the best and most positive outcome or me and this project.

If were not aware I instituted THE WALL OF GRATITUDE for the people who contributed to the stepping workshop project. The wall is a part of the rewards package you receive when you make a pledge of $5 or more. Check out the proposal http://kck.st/GBuqh8 for more information.

The Stepping Workshop Tour is beginning on April 20th and will end on June 9, (some dates subject to change) We are going to Nevada, California, Michigan, Washington, New Mexico, Texas, Vancouver, Toronto , Montreal, Munster, and Barcelona. I would like to thank friends and family who have already help in some way to make this project move towards being a success.
We are getting close to the end of the fund rising process and I can use all the help I can get. This process has been so much fun, getting the idea for the tour and putting the energy to start the project and now gearing up to actually go on the tour. The Creative process is wonderful and I want you to have a hand and be apart this movement. Check out the Stepping Workshop Tour page and see where you might be able to assist in achieving this goal.

Antwan and Jason are joining forces.

Jason will helping make this tour a reality. He will be co-teaching with me on the first leg of the tour plus helping plan the tour. With Jason helping book dance studios things should go rather smoothly. Jason is an established teacher on his own. It was Jason who taught Me how to step. It was in Rhythm Cartel, a non greek step team where Jason and I began working together. When me and Jason get together, good things are sure to follow.

Funding the Stepping Workshop!

I spent the last six months in Las Vegas teaching adults and children of all ages. And now I believe its time to take the opportunity, so this summer I’m going on the road and travel to dance studios across North America and Europe to conduct Stepping Workshops.  I launched a Kickstarter Campaign today to help funds and grow support and awareness for the Stepping Workshop Tour. In order to make project like this to happen a lot of  artist wrestle with the idea of finding money to fund a project like this. Kickstarter.com is a great site for artists who want to get support and find funding for their projects. My goal is to share my love of music and body percussion with the world. I will need help to achieve that goal. Check out the Kickstarter page and get more information and see how you lend your support for this project.

Stepping Workshop Tour 2012

I love to teach, I’ve taught stepping over  the last 13 years to fellow steppers, I help trained new steppers, taught to people who wanted to learn a little something, I’ve created and revamped steps. I’ve taught with Jason and Khalid in many of their workshops and workshops for Step Afrika and Molodi where we taught be committee. Since May of last year I’ve been teaching my own workshops and I am having a ball doing it. I’m always looking for a new opportunities and expand my experience as a teaching. It’s like a new career. So I decided to do a Stepping Workshop tour. The idea is to book dance studios in different parts of the world and teach Stepping Workshops in new places to new faces.. I’ve performed all over the country but I have not travelled as teacher so I am looking forward to this ever-growing and unfolding journey teaching. .. I don’t plan to quit my day job. LOL!

I launched a funding campaign through Kickstarter.com, its a great site for artists who want to get support and find money for their projects. If you want to help me reach my goal in getting funding for my project, or check out the site and start you own campaign http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1653683042/stepping-workshop-tour is my proposal. If you another way to show your support or help spread the word repost/reblog the link. Email it, facebook it, wordpress it. I appreciate your help, your time, your present, your energy.
